Welcome to the Maituta Voters Enlightenment platform. This guide walks you through registration, explains each feature, and shows you how to access your ID card, certificate, program applications, and more.

1 Registration – How to Join

Choose Your Category

Go to the Register page and select Individual (adult voter), Group (association, union, school), or Family (household with head).

Fill Your Details

Provide full name, phone number, LGA, ward, Voter VIN, and upload a passport photo. Groups also need category, member count, and executive directors.

Submit & Get App ID

After submission, you'll see a success modal with your unique App ID (e.g., MVE-2027-1002). Copy it – you'll need it for status checks and program applications.

Tip: If you see a name similarity warning, you can submit an appeal. Your registration will still be processed while admin reviews it.

5 Frequently Asked Questions
What is the App ID used for?
Your App ID (e.g., MVE-2027-1002) is your unique identifier. Use it to check your registration status, apply for programs, and download your ID card and certificate.
Can I register more than once?
Each person should register only once. If you need to update your information, use the edit option on the status page. Duplicate registrations may be flagged.
How do I apply for a program?
Go to the Programs page, browse available programs, and click Apply Now. You must be registered and provide your phone number.
What if I forget my App ID?
You can always check your status using your registered phone number. The system will find your record and display your App ID.
How do I get my ID card?
After registration, go to the Check Status page, enter your phone or App ID, and click Download ID Card.
Can a group or family download an official form?
Yes. Groups and families have an additional Download A4 Form button on the status page. This is a printable registration form.
